Case Study: International Management Meeting

Brief: Working in consultation with the USA based Event Organiser, Go West were hired to plan and manage a senior management meeting attended by 130 delegates from all over the USA.
Event Brief:
- Design of event website with facility for online registration
- Management of accommodation requirements and ground transportation
- Co-ordination of all meeting requirements – Audio Visual, Set Design, Staging & Lighting, Badges and Event Branding
- Provision of support staff for on site registration
- Venue management.
- Plan a social programme to include a team building event, a dine around and a gala evening

Solution:
Go West created a dedicated website for the event where delegates could reserve their accommodation and book their airport transfers. We also provided the administrative support to process the website bookings and to ensure the success of the event.
The highlights of the event included:
- A puzzle trail with unusual characters
- Dinner in Lisloughry Lodge over looking Lough Corrib on the grounds of the historical Ashford Estate.
- Exclusive charter of a luxury river cruiser to transfer guests to Lisloughry Lodge
- A lively drumming workshop which kicked off the celebrations at the conference dinner. All guests received a pair of drumsticks, learned to perform a paradiddle and enjoyed jamming with one of Ireland’s most talented drummers.
- Entertainment after dinner was provided by the cream of Irish Talent including musicians and dancers.
